Welding and fabrication sit at the core of what we do at Ant Fabrications. Our workshop in Wardington, near Banbury, is equipped for both MIG and TIG welding processes, giving us the flexibility to handle everything from a simple MOT repair to complex structural fabrication work on a competition vehicle.
MOT welding is one of our most requested services. If your car has failed its test for corrosion in structural areas — sills, floor pan, chassis legs, suspension turrets or wheel arches — we can repair it properly rather than with a cosmetic bodge. We work to a high standard and can provide photos and documentation of completed repairs to assist with your retest.
For classic car owners, we regularly carry out structural restoration work that goes well beyond basic MOT requirements: cutting out rotten sections and fabricating replacement panels, rebuilding floor pans, repairing chassis rails, and restoring structural integrity to vehicles that have spent decades suffering from UK weather. This kind of structural groundwork is often what makes a full restoration possible.
Our custom fabrication capability includes roll cages for track and rally use, exhaust systems in mild or stainless steel, custom brackets and mounts, tow points, skid plates and bespoke metalwork to customer specification.
